Devyn Leighton is a Canadian artist, storyteller, poet, and essayist who pulls back the curtain on what it means to be human—writing about love, loss, survival, and the things we usually don't share. A survivor of assault, she learned healing isn't a destination, but the daily act of choosing herself.
In doing so, she created a body of work where others could recognize their own scars, small victories, and realize they are not alone.
She is also the founder of The Alchemist's Cabin, a magazine on Substack that publishes real, human-made fiction, art, and poetry.
